Coonabarabran’s aged-care complex, Cooinda, is looking to the future, with plans for further development to cater for the community’s needs.
“Due to the high demand for places in the Cooinda Village, the Board of Management is considering developing a highly attractive, modern facility, catering to the discerning customer over the age of 55,” said Cooinda general manager, Leanne Redfern.
“The proposed project will be in the form of a gated community on the five acres of land owned by Cooinda on the eastern end of Edward Street - known as Priddis Farm.
“The Board invites community members to participate in a survey to assist them to determine the demand for additional retirement living in Coonabarabran.”
Surveys have been placed strategically around Coonabarabran, but copies can also be obtained by contacting Cooinda’s general manager, Leanne Redfern.
